G-LAND JOYO'S SURF CAMP

Joyo’s camp is set amongst a National Park called “Alas Purwo” and is open March to November and located just off the beach line, directly in front of the famous section of reef known as Speedies. With a bungalow style accommodation which is strongly constructed to facilitate the unique lifestyle of most adventures who love being in the jungle and nature and to provide as much natural element as possible inside the room. Accommodation is in new modernized bungalows sleeping for 2-4 adults with air-conds & fan, double beds, & up to 4 single beds, DVD player, TV, mossie nets. The central relaxation house features a bar with cold beer “Bintang”, and soft dring like coke. A dining room, leather lounge, TV with surround sound stereo system, DVD player to enjoy the latest movie, music and most prominent internation-local channels transmitted by satelite dish. This area also has 2 large pool tables, tables tennis, yoga hall, internet connection and many more. Other non-surfing activities include fishing, yoga, snorkeling, sun-bathing, beach combing, diving, jungle trekking, and so forth. Internet via broadband staellite you can enjoy our fast internet access using broadband satellite connection. It is available for rent at affordable rates.

A zodiac boat will take surfers swiftly to the breaks or line-up at high-tide. At low tide you can even walk across the reef and paddle. Other non-surfing activities include fishing, snorkeling, sun-bathing, beach combing, snorkeling, diving, jungle trekking. Rental gears for fishing and bicycling are also available.

Meals

Meals are a highlight of guest's visit to G-Land Joyo's Surf Camp. All meals are included in the package price as well as beers per day, soft drinks, fresh juices and mineral water. The daily menu is a good mix of western and Indonesian dishes and very substantial to revitalize your energy. Our chefs have good experience in working on a varied of tasty recipe to assure an intriguing dishes served to the guests. Our resident manager and friendly Indonesian staffs and crews will ensure every comfort of the guests are met and to make their stay at "Joyo's Surf Camp" is considerably memorable and you will long to return again to experience the awesome attraction of G-Land.

Surf

Kong's: is the first break way up the point and rarely drops below 3 feet, a slower, easier break than what waits down the line
Money Trees: is just down the line from Kongs it really walls up and gives some long racey tube rides
Launching Pads: is the take off point for Speedies which spits out barrels that will seem to last forever.
Surfpoints for the not so advanced
20/20s: has a left and right hander, both on there day will throw out some great barrels
Tiger Tracks: a longer walk or boat ride this right hander is gives natural footers a great existance in G-land (a super break)

Facilities

INTERNET has been facilitated at the camp to serve the guests for checking emails, browsing, searching, sharing, & interact with the outside world using fast-speed broadband internet via satellite. Always keep in touch with friends, family, beloved persons everyday.

MASSAGE is also catered when the guest need this service.

LAUNDRY is also available and just what the guests might need when they are staying for longer time and our house keeping staff will take care of your dirty apparels at ease.

SAFE DEPOSIT BOXES are provided and highly advisable to keep all valuable things or properties in a safe place while surfing or when the guest leaves the camp for a while.

SURF GUIDE. Aussie surf-guide has anything you need in understanding and recognizing this unique spot, the best section for surfing, the perfect time, etc. Besides his own mother language, English, they could speak and understanding Indonesian pretty well and often helping out to bridge and intermediate between the guest and the staffs/crews.

SURF DOCTOR. Our doctor comes from many different parts of the world e.g. Australia, USA, New Zealand, South Africa, Brazil, Germany, and so forth always prepare with comprehensive expertise and skills in surgery, and good stocks of medical supplies to ensure your safety in our top priority at all times.

Getting There

Travelling to G-Land is easy, our minibus/van will pick you up from your hotel or accommodation in Bali in late evening. From there, it’s an over-night drive (overland) via Gilimanuk port and then ferry ship to East Java, arriving early morning dawn at Joyo's Surf Camp. Otherwise you can take our new fast boat departing Bali at 05.30 am where you can enjoy fast & comfortable trip over the ocean, this only takes 2,5 hours to G-Land...just really worth it.

Trip via overland through jungle road is now established especially for those who want to enjoy exoticism side of Alas Purwo jungle during the trip. If lucky, you may encounter group of preserved animals feeding some grasses, fruits or leaves on the other side of the path....just capture the moment with your cam-corder for unforgettable experience...

Fast Ferry Information:

Minimum paxs on board: 10 paxs
Time of departure : at 06.00 am
Departure point: Jimbaran Bay, Bali
Access time: 2,5 - 3 hrs (depending on weather)
3. Fast boat operates from (April - October) period.
4. The fast boat departs approx. at 06.00 am from Jimbaran Bay, Bali (subject to high tide condition).
5. Paxs are picked up by early morning from their hotel in Kuta approx. at 05.00 am.
6. The surfboards will be collected and transfered separately one day prior to fast boat trip departure date using overland.
7. The fast boat is departing one day after regular overland trip dates or upon special request for full bookings.
8. We can only operate fast boat based on minimum numbers of 10 paxs and in normal weather conditions; We reserve a right to cancel the departure if the required conditions aren't met or in bad weather that assumed to be unsafe for the trip.
